130 Hamsters Flood Plane Mid Air, Aircraft grounded

A Portugal bound Aircraft has been reportedly grounded for the past five days and
more after more than 130 hamsters in the hold found a way to escape their cages.

workers working maintenance have been trying their best to round up the powerful
cable eating rodents since they mass escaped last Tuesday, Nov. 12th, and 16 hamsters
are still on the run and unaccounted for.

Luggage Handlers firstly discovered that the cages the animals were held in had been damaged
and 132 hamsters were seen roaming around the cargo hold when the Airbus 320 touched down in
Azores archipelago capital Ponta Delgada on Sao Miguel Island, belonging to Portugal.

The hamsters were reportedly part of a delivery for a pet shop on the island which also include
ferrets and some birds. The search for the Hamsters started after passengers on board the plane
deplaned and their luggage removed.

Hamsters mass break out prevented the aircraft from returning back to the Portuguese capital Lisbon
where it started its journey and the search to hunt down the remaining rodent has continued last night.

Local news paper said, the animals was accepted on the flight after being turned away
from an earlier one because the cages did not meet the right standards. The airline in charge of the operating
flight, is yet to make an Official Statement.
