Pains of Payment Reversal among Some civil servants in Nigeria Health Sector.
My fellow Nigerians, it is with the utmost dismay and unhappiness that I bring to your attention the difficult to understand incident of payment reversal in our beloved country, Nigeria, most especially to some staff of the health sector.
This terrible behavior has been perpetuated by the powers that be, leaving the ordinary Nigerian worker in a state of total confusion and financial instability.
The recent crisis’s surrounding the payment of peculiar arrears to health workers is a typical example of this unusual situation.
Despite the government’s so called implementation of the payment on the salary structure, the health workers have been owed a staggering 7 months’ worth of arrears.
One would have expected the government to prioritize the payment of these arrears, but no they did not, instead they have chosen to reverse the entire process, leaving the health workers in a state of financial instability making them customers to loan applications.
This unsupported reversal is not only a betrayal of trust but also a blatant disregard for the welfare and wellbeing of the health workers who have dedicated their lives to serving the nation.
It is an unconscionable act that has left many questioning the government’s commitment to the welfare of its citizens.
We demand that the government takes immediate action to address this anomaly and ensure that the health workers receive their due payment without further delay, so as to cushion the effect of the hard situation in Nigeria today.
We will not stand idle by while the government perpetuates this unsupported injustice towards Health workers in Nigeria.
Let us rise up and demand justice for our health workers! Let us make our voices heard and ensure that the government is held accountable for its actions
